Fire Dampers are passive fire protection products designed to close when temperature rise to prevent spread of fire or smoke inside the ductwork. They are mostly used in ventilation or air-conditioning ductwork. A fire damper is typically curtain style that immediately shuts down when fusible links starts melting. So whenever there is a rise in temperature it will close automatically which will help flame not to spread through the barrier.

At the time of installation of Fire damper, an operational test is needed to be conducted to verify that the damper operation is not obstructed and there is full access to the damper and all its components.
modern high-rise buildings with most of the ventilation, air conditioning and smoke control systems, in the event of fire, these systems will become the pipeline fire, smoke spread channel. In order to prevent the fire from clearly defined in the damper, exhaust valve setup requirements.
